Welcome to my web
page. I am a doctoral student in
the Department of Political Science at Stanford University and a Jacob K. Javits Graduate Fellow. I also have a Master of Arts degree from the Stanford University School of Education.
My research interests include American politics and political institutions. I am especially interested in nonprofits, education policy, judicial behavior, and race and politics.
I am also an alumna of the 2003 Teach For America•Bay Area corps.
After spending two years teaching special education in San Jose, CA,
I worked for TFA’s summer institute and as a member of the Admissions team in New York City.
I have also spent time teaching in China, South Africa, and Brazil.
I graduated from the University of Maryland (B.A., Government and Politics,
B.S., Business) in 2003.
